My only qualm with the writing is an over-attempt to find connections in the lives of these two men. This thorough account details how important Pope St. Lopez: Is there some lesson we can draw from the relationship between John Paul II and Ronald Reagan about secular leaders and religious leaders, or the development of Catholic doctrine. At certain parts, as well as what that mutual dialogue and counsel should and could look li.

It is crucial to understand this history of communist "persecutions" and "errors" to grasp why both Pope John Paul II and Ronald Reagan saw communism as the great evil of the twentieth century and came together to confront it.
